ORGANISATION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION AT WAR IN UKRAINE: RESULTS OF A SURVEY OF PRIMARY EDUCATION SPECIALISTS

The article presents the results of a survey primary education specialists on organization school in period after beginning Russia’s fullscale invasion Ukraine February 24, 2022 and May 31, (the official end 2021–2022 academic year). was conducted by scholars Institute Pedagogy National Academy Educational Sciences Ukraine. is based legislative regulatory documents governing legal regime martial law peculiarities functioning Ukrainian system during this period; analytical works, including author’s own, under law; characteristics education: guidelines international organizations times war were also taken into account. showed that primaryeducation continued to function full-scale Russia, despite serious challenges (destruction or damage educational institutions due bombing shelling, forced displacement teachers parents with children, numerous psychological traumas occupation part territory genocide people occupied territories). This became possible both creation foundations institutional regulation sphere for authorities, their civic position, moral responsibility, professional qualifications. conclusions developed basis respondents’ answers outline options organizing conditions. relevance further development distance learning format implementation systemic policy authorities support teachers, which should include methodological teaching conditions, emphasized.
